Wilian Bertuol
Wilian Bertuol is a product designer from Brazil. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Design from the University of Caxias do Sul and in Furniture Design from Nottingham Trent University in the United Kingdom, he has built a solid career marked by significant international recognition. Among his most notable achievements are the “Best in Show” title at Abimad 35 and a consecutive winning streak at the iF Design Award in 2024, 2025, and 2026—the latter honoring the Manacá armchair, developed for Duoma. Such distinctions reaffirm the exclusive character and technical excellence of his creations.
His approach goes beyond form and function, incorporating cultural references that bestow a unique identity upon his products. This vision expands the relationship between aesthetics and usability, ensuring each piece is not only functional but also imbued with meaning and impact on people's lives.
With a strong academic background and extensive experience, Wilian develops pieces that engage with contemporary market demands without compromising aesthetic relevance or design integrity. He currently serves as the Creative Coordinator at Duoma, where he exclusively signs several pieces within the brand's portfolio. The synergy between the designer and the company aims to create products of high aesthetic and functional value, consolidating both names within the Brazilian signature design scene.
