The Manacá armchair offers a contemporary interpretation of a classic: a wooden base with superimposed cushions. Its majestic design is inspired by the Manacá-da-serra (Glory Bush), a plant native to the Atlantic Forest whose flowers change color as they mature, from white to pink and deep purple. Widely used in landscape projects, it is recognized for its imposing presence and resilience.
The welcoming character of the Manacá armchair comes from its cushions with a pulled seam detail and the relaxed-looking fabric, providing both visual and physical comfort. The ergonomic inclination ensures a natural, relaxed sitting experience, ideal for long hours of reading or pleasant conversations. The turned feet add harmony and balance, completing a majestic wooden piece that elevates the style and personality of any environment.
Wilian Bertuol was born in Guaporé-RS, 31 years old and is a product designer for the Duoma brand, signing several pieces in the portfolio. His career in furniture and object design led him to receive prestigious awards, such as the iF Design Award 2024 and the “Best in Show” at Abimad 35.
