Our history
Duoma means sum. The sum of two worlds. The sum of expertise. The sum of 1 + 1. A sum that brings together over 40 years of experience and success in the high-end décor market. On one side, the Hagobian Family, with a traditional furniture retail chain in São Paulo since 1978, and on the other, João Rafael, who has led for years the commercial and structural divisions of major industries in the décor sector.
The sum of both is Duoma.
A company born large, with big ambitions, aiming to develop and deliver products of excellence in Brazilian design, quality, authenticity, and comfort, grounded in the union of industry and retail visions. From the finest raw materials to the insight of those who are aware of what the market demands.
Our Facilities
The construction of the manufacturing plant began in August 2022 and operations started in May 2023, in Maringá, Northern Paraná. The 3,000m² facility features impeccable infrastructure, state-of-the-art machinery, and skilled professionals capable of transforming raw materials into pieces that will create cozy environments and be part of people’s everyday lives for years to come.
How we do it
In 2023, Duoma entered the market with a strong brand and the ZeroUm collection: a comprehensive product line for high-end décor retailers, featuring fixed, retractable, modular, and curved sofas, as well as armchairs and accessories. Initially focusing on São Paulo market, Duoma expanded in April 2024 by hiring sales representatives across South, Southeast, and Midwest regions.
Excellence is present in every detail: from product finishes to outstanding customer service with fast support, from branding to the retailer’s experience with well-crafted sales materials and technologies that make selection easier. We believe that the pursuit of being a true partner in the industry, with attentive ears and open arms to deliver the best, will drive our progress.
