The Pitanga is a native fruit of the Atlantic Forest, with furrowed skin and a bittersweet flavor. Its name comes from the Tupi-Guarani ybápytanga, meaning “pink fruit,” referencing its vibrant and fragrant color. The Pitanga armchair draws inspiration from the fruit in its draped backrest, echoing the natural grooves. Its elegant and expressive design adds movement and sophistication to any space.

Wilian Bertuol was born in Guaporé-RS, 31 years old and is a product designer for the Duoma brand, signing several pieces in the portfolio. His career in furniture and object design led him to receive prestigious awards, such as the iF Design Award 2024 and the “Best in Show” at Abimad 35.
