The Dumont sofa draws inspiration from the precise and elegant lines developed by Santos Dumont for his airplanes, particularly the 14 Bis. These lines informed a design with a light, rectilinear aesthetic, incorporating elements inspired by the model’s wings, expressed through a split seam detail that enhances comfort by eliminating seams on the seat.
Elevated on metal legs, the base adds balance and refinement, fitting seamlessly into sophisticated environments. The carefully developed foam composition, along with slightly larger dimensions compared to standard living room sofas, ensures enhanced comfort and allows for versatile compositional arrangements.
